Any symptom-screening or triage feature on this website is an information tool only. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it does not decide what treatment you need.

What it does

• Asks structured questions about your symptoms.
• Suggests which area of care your symptoms may relate to.
• Points you to general information pages and to the booking form.

What it cannot do

• It cannot examine you or see your X-rays.
• It cannot exclude a serious condition.
• It cannot replace the judgement of a doctor who has examined you.
• It cannot be used in an emergency.

Human oversight

No clinical decision in this practice is made by an automated system. Every clinical decision is made by Dr Moagi after a consultation and examination.

Automated decision-making under POPIA

Section 71 of POPIA restricts decisions about a person based solely on automated processing. This website does not make such decisions about you. Any output from a screening tool is a suggestion for further reading and for discussion in the rooms.

Accuracy and limitations

Screening logic is general and cannot account for your full history. It may be wrong. If your symptoms are severe, worsening, or different from what the tool describes, seek medical attention regardless of what the tool suggested.

Your information

Answers you give to a screening tool are handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice. Where you choose to send them with a consultation request, they are added to your enquiry.
