Before your visit

What to bring to the first consultation

  • Your ID and medical aid card

    We need these to confirm your details and check your cover.

  • A referral letter, if you have one

    You do not need a referral to be seen, but it helps.

  • Any X-rays, MRI scans or reports

    Bring the images themselves, on disc or a link, not only the report.

  • A list of your medication

    Include chronic medication, blood thinners and allergies.

If you need help now

Outside consulting hours, report to the Casualty Department at Netcare Ferncrest Hospital or Life Peglerae Hospital in Rustenburg. If the injury is life-threatening, call 10177 immediately. Please do not use the enquiry form for an emergency.
