Booking & Cancellation Policy
How appointments are booked, confirmed, rescheduled and cancelled at Dr Tabane Moagi's practice.
Last reviewed: February 2026
Requesting an appointment
A form submitted on this website is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment exists only once the rooms confirm a date and time with you.
Confirmation
The rooms aim to respond to requests within one working day. Consulting hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Requests received over a weekend or public holiday are dealt with on the next working day.
What to bring
- Your ID and medical aid card.
- A referral letter if you have one.
- Any X-rays, MRI scans or reports, including the images themselves.
- A list of your medication, including blood thinners and allergies.
Arriving late
If you arrive late your consultation may be shortened or moved to a later slot, so that other patients are not delayed.
Cancelling or rescheduling
Please give the rooms as much notice as possible, and at least 24 hours where you can, so the slot can be offered to another patient. Cancellation fees, if any, are as advised by the rooms at the time of booking: [CONFIRM].
Missed appointments
Repeated missed appointments without notice may affect how future bookings are made for you.
Surgery dates
A surgery date is confirmed only after pre-authorisation and hospital booking are in place. Emergencies and trauma cases may occasionally require a planned list to be moved; the rooms will contact you as early as possible if that happens.
Fees
Fees, medical aid cover and self-pay arrangements are explained on the Medical Aid & Funding page and confirmed by the rooms before surgery.
